This tastes like extremely authentic Thai food. The tofu is very crispy, unlike the other Thai place on 7th, One More Time Charm (which is also excellent). The portions are a little small, I remember in comparison, Lemongrass on 7th avenue more than a decade ago before they closed had a gigantic fried rice for $6 or $7. So maybe the value isn't great, but otherwise I can't recommend highly enough. The thai fried rice and drunken noodle were both excellent and I assume taste very authentic, as if ordered in Thailand

Best Thai food I've had in a long long while. Very comfortable place too. Price was very reasonable too. Highly recommend and will come back again.

Jai Dee recently renovated. It appears to be under new ownership. The new space is cheerful and the new staff are wonderful people. The menu carries on classic dishes you would expect but has expanded to include greater variety. I am a fan of the Massaman Curry with tofu and vegetables; in the spirit of the Massaman Curry is a Pumpkin Curry that is excellent. While the restaurant includes classic proteins of chicken, duck, beef, shrimp, there is a broadening of vegetarian-friendly offerings and the mock-duck/seitan is recommended, especially with Drunken Noodles. The kitchen here is fast and thorough. Any old complaints you might see on Yelp don't represent the quality of the restaurant. Jai Dee has a robust in-house dining clientele and is outfitted for delivery services and walk-in pick-up of orders. They are a great operation in this neighborhood. Enjoy your dining here.

Nice food, good service for a reasonable price. Ambiance is typical for Park Slope hole in the wall but clean and nothing to complain about.

Jai Dee Thai restaurant is one of the better Thai places I've tried in Brooklyn. I went with one of their most popular dishes, the "Drunken Noodle" = flat noodles, egg, onion, Chinese broccoli, bell pepper, basil and chili paste. Portion size = excellent, more than enough for one person Overall taste = good, delicious. Will ask for more spice next time This was my first time at this restaurant - I like Jai Dee. I ordered takeout- preparation was fast & fresh.

I don't even know how to review Thai restaurants in NYC anymore. They're all so good to me- would be 10-stars just about everywhere else in the U.S. that's not L.A... So I'll just say my favorite dish here was the glass noodle and my least favorite dish was the pad thai (which always seems to be a let down these days- don't know why)... Everything else we had was pretty damn good also: pad si ew, drunken noodle, curry puffs, etc. As I've said before, you could throw a stick in NYC and randomly hit an excellent Thai restaurant. This one doesn't disappoint...

This is a great Thai spot. Noodle dishes are bold and flavorful. The spices are good, strong, but not very much heat, but they cater to a very western neighborhood. The coconut rice is really good and highly recommended. I usually order extra because for some reason, Thai food just tastes so good the next day. I like the coconut sticky rice as a snack. It's warm, sticky, gooey, and lightly sweet. I like this place. It's a good spot for decent Thai food.
